A clearer, more supported way of navigating Celiac disease is possible—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
Trust Your Gut Celiac Intensive
You’re feeling it…
You’ve been told you have celiac disease—and now you’re realizing how much it affects your daily life. What used to feel simple now feels complicated.
You find yourself second-guessing everything. Reading labels multiple times, Googling ingredients, and still not feeling fully sure.
Grocery shopping takes longer than it used to. You stand in the aisle trying to figure out what’s safe, wondering if you’re missing something.
You’re worried about getting it wrong—especially when it comes to cross contamination or shared spaces. Even your own kitchen might not feel safe right now.
Eating out, traveling, or being at someone else’s house feels stressful instead of easy. You’re not sure what to ask, what to trust, or how to navigate it.
There’s a mental load that’s harder to explain. The constant awareness. The overthinking. The feeling of needing to be “on” all the time around food.
And underneath all of that, there might be some frustration, or even grief—because this wasn’t something you chose, and it’s changed more than you expected.
This is why I created the Trust Your Gut Celiac Intensive
Most people are given a diagnosis, but not a clear way to move through it. They are expected to figure out what’s safe, how to set things up, and how to navigate everyday situations, without a step-by-step approach or support along the way.
And for many people, that leads to months (or even years) of trial and error, second-guessing, and unnecessary stress.
This intensive is designed to change that.
Instead of piecing things together on your own, I offer a focused, guided experience where we walk through what matters, both practically and mentally, so you can start feeling clear, confident, and steady in a week.
I see you…
wanting to feel more confident in your day-to-day decisions around food
wishing things felt simpler , something that didn’t require constant thought
hoping you could trust yourself to know what’s safe without overanalyzing everything
not wanting to feel anxious every time you eat, go out, or travel
trying to adjust to something you didn’t choose—and figuring out how to move forward in a way that feels manageable
ready for this to feel less overwhelming and more like something you can actually handle
A clearer, more supported way of navigating this is possible—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
What We Cover Inside the Intensive
This Intensive is built for you to learn how to approach celiac disease in a way that feels clear, manageable, and realistic in your day-to-day life so you can start to feel more confident in the decisions you’re making.
-
We start by helping you make sense of the diagnosis itself—so you’re not trying to piece things together from conflicting information.
You’ll learn what celiac disease actually means for your body
Where gluten tends to hide
What to expect as you begin adjusting (including things that can feel confusing early on, like temporary food sensitivities).
We also break down one of the most overwhelming parts in the beginning—figuring out what’s safe, what’s not, and how to think about cross contamination in a way that feels clear instead of intimidating.
At the same time, we work through the initial overwhelm that often shows up here, which helps you take in the information without feeling overburdened.
-
In Session 2, we focus on your environment and routines—so life starts to feel more doable and less overwhelming at home.
We’ll walk through how to set up your kitchen in a way that feels safe and uncomplicated, including making a list of what needs to be replaced, what can stay, and how to navigate a shared household.
You’ll also learn how to approach grocery shopping in a way that’s more efficient and less stressful—what to look for, where to shop, and how to avoid the trial-and-error that can make this process so frustrating.
This is also where we work through the pressure that can come up around “getting it right,” helping you make decisions with more confidence and less hesitation.
-
This is where we focus on helping you feel more confident outside of your home.
We’ll walk through how to approach restaurants, what to look for when choosing where to go, and how to communicate clearly with staff so you can advocate for yourself without feeling uncomfortable or unsure.
We will practice these conversations together, so you’re not figuring it out for the first time in real situations.
We’ll also cover travel, events, and social situations—so you can continue living your life, not limiting it.
And we work through the fear and hesitation that can show up in these moments, which allows you to feel more at ease.
Throughout the intensive, the goal isn’t just to understand the “rules.”
This is a space where both the practical and emotional sides of this diagnosis are supported.
The goal is for you to feel more steady, less overwhelmed, and more confident applying what you’ve learned in your real, everyday life.
By the end of the Intensive…
You’ll have a clear way of approaching celiac disease that works in your day-to-day life.
You’ll leave with the knowledge and tools to navigate celiac disease in real life right away instead of spending the next few months trying to figure this out on your own.
Within a week, you’ll be able to…
walk into a grocery store and know what to look for—without standing in the aisle for 20 minutes second-guessing every label
set up your kitchen in a way that feels safe and manageable, whether you live alone or in a shared household
approach restaurants and traveling with a clearer plan—what questions to ask, and how to communicate without feeling uncomfortable or unsure
make decisions more independently, without constantly Googling or looking for reassurance
understand how to handle situations when things don’t go as planned—without spiraling into overwhelm or self-doubt
feel less pressure to get everything exactly right, and more clarity around what’s actually important for staying safe
experience less overthinking around food and more trust in your ability to navigate situations as they come up
This isn’t about doing everything perfectly.
Living with celiac comes with uncertainty at times.
But instead of feeling stuck or unsure, you’ll know how to make informed, safe decisions, adjust when needed, and keep moving forward with more confidence.
You will leave with the clarity, confidence, and ability to live your life with celiac in a way that feels more steady, more flexible, and more your own.

Why I Created This Program
I was diagnosed with celiac disease over a decade ago after being sick for more than a year and a half.
Like many people, I was given advice that didn’t fully make sense at the time—and I had to figure out what actually worked through experience.
I remember how overwhelming it felt in the beginning. Trying to understand what was safe, second-guessing everything, and realizing how much of everyday life this diagnosis touches.
Over time, I learned how to navigate this in a way that felt clear, practical, and sustainable- not just in theory, but in real-life situations like grocery shopping, eating out, traveling, and living in shared spaces.
I’m also a Licensed Independent Clinical Social worker (LICSW/LCSW) and work as an anxiety specialist, which allows me to support not just the practical side of this diagnosis, but the mental and emotional impact as well.
Because this isn’t just about food.
It’s about the overwhelm, the grief, and the anxiety that comes with the constant decision-making and strategizing required to live with this.
I care deeply about helping people navigate this in a way that feels more manageable and less isolating—especially in the early stages after diagnosis, when everything can feel the most uncertain.
Trust Your Gut is built from both lived experience and a structured, supportive approach so you’re not left trying to figure this out on your own.

You’re expecting a guarantee that you’ll never be exposed to gluten again

-
You can, and many people try to.
I have a decade of experience living with celiac disease, navigating holidays, travel, moving, living with roommates who eat gluten, and events like weddings and baby showers. While google is at your fingertips, sifting through all the information to find what’s important and pertinent to your life can be an exhausting, overwhelming, and anxiety inducing endeavor. Let’s be honest, I was there. I created this program because boy do I wish I had a program like this when I was diagnosed. So many hours of tears, anxiety and distress went into finding the information I needed. Let me make it easier for you. Some information you can only learn through a lived experience and I’m here to share all my knowledge with you.
Also, addressing only the logistics of being gluten free is only one part of the experience. There is a need for emotional support when transitioning into this new way of life.
This intensive gives you a clear, structured way to understand and apply what matters so you’re not spending months piecing it together through trial and error.
We work through your specific questions, your environment, and the situations you’re facing, while also supporting the mental side of this adjustment. That includes overwhelm, anxiety, and the increased hypervigilance that can come with trying to get everything right.
-
This can feel especially overwhelming, both for you and for your child.
The intensive can be adapted to focus on your role as a parent, including how to navigate school, social situations, and the emotional impact this diagnosis can have on your child.
We also look at how to support your child in a way that helps them feel safe and included, rather than different or isolated.
Because this is a one-on-one experience, the content is tailored to your specific situation so you’re not trying to fit into a one-size-fits-all approach.
-
Unfortunately, this will likely happen as it is the reality of living with celiac in a gluten centered culture. This concern is valid and I also want to encourage you to change the goal from never getting glutened (out of your control)→ to knowing how to reduce the risk of getting glutened (within your control).
This intensive isn’t about eliminating all risk or doing everything perfectly.
It’s about helping you understand how to make informed decisions, recognize potential risks, and know how to respond when things don’t go as planned without spiraling into overwhelm or self-doubt.
-
It’s most helpful if you’ve been diagnosed recently and are still trying to figure things out.
That said, it can also be helpful if you’ve been diagnosed for a while but still feel unsure, overwhelmed, or not fully confident navigating certain situations.
-
Absolutely. This intensive has a very specific purpose around navigating the initial phase following your celiac diagnosis. With a purposeful approach around learning all you need to know in order to reengage in your life. While we will focus on the mental health impacts of this diagnosis, there are limits (due to time) for us to go into the other parts of ourselves that get impacted from this diagnosis. I would ask that you sign a Release of Information so that your current therapist and I can collaborate/coordinate to best serve you
-
Yes, this isn’t a one-size-fits-all program.
We tailor the sessions to your specific situation, environment, and concerns so what you’re learning is directly relevant to your day-to-day life.
-
Both.
We cover the practical aspects of living with celiac, such as food, environments, and real-life situations. We also make space for the mental and emotional impact that often comes with this diagnosis.
Understanding the “rules” is one thing. Feeling confident applying them is what actually makes the difference.
-
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, constantly second-guessing, or unsure how to navigate everyday situations, that’s usually a sign you’re trying to piece this together on your own.
What this offers is a more direct and supported way through that process.
Instead of spending the next few months researching, second-guessing, and learning through trial and error, you’re getting focused, one-on-one guidance over the course of a week.
This is also a personalized experience. We focus on your specific concerns, your environment, and the situations you’re navigating, whether that’s an upcoming trip, social events, or day-to-day routines that currently feel uncertain.
You’re not just receiving information. You’re learning how to apply it to your actual life, in real time.
You’re also being supported through the mental side of this, including the overwhelm, grief, anxiety, and constant decision-making that often comes with a new diagnosis.
This is designed to help you move through the most difficult part of this adjustment more efficiently, with clarity, and with support, so you can start feeling more confident in your day-to-day life much sooner.

Therapy Intensives are not covered by insurance. However, if you have out-of-network benefits, your insurance company may reimburse a portion of the Therapy Intensive. It’s best to call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card to learn the details about your specific plan. Make sure to ask questions like: Do I have a deductible for out-of-network services? Have I met my deductible? What CPT billing codes do you reimburse (i.e. 90837 or two 90843 in one day)? What is the rate of reimbursement for each billing code? What is the allowable amount for reimbursement?
Here is a helpful resource: The Complete Guide to Out-Of-Network Reimbursement.
